But don’t worry, just because you’re not a photographer or influencer doesn’t mean you can’t use these presets too. Lightroom works for everyone, no matter how much you know about advanced photo editing. Especially with my free Lightroom presets for desktop and mobile, because they basically do the work for you.
In today’s challenge, we’re only bringing you up to date with the latest social media image processing. And at the end, we’ll show you where you can download your presets — completely for free. Before we start, let’s clarify what Lightroom presets are.
What are Lightroom presets?
Lightroom presets work just like traditional photo filters, but on a much more professional level. These presets can turn your photos into an Instagram banger with just a single click. In many cases, however, you will have to/want to turn the sliders a bit after using the presets.
There are three major benefits to using Lightroom and presets.
- You can give your images a consistent look. Without having to try again for each image to achieve that one style.
- You can edit your images very quickly and professionally because you don’t always start from scratch.
- When editing photos with Lightroom presets, you have almost endless options to change your image.
- Before-and-after image editing to see directly how a preset will affect your image.
What software do you need for your free Lightroom presets?
The Lightroom app is enough for the free mobile presets (.dng), which you can find free in the app stores for iPhones and Android. If you want to edit your pictures on your computer or laptop, you’ll need Lightroom CC or Lightroom Classic CC. However, both programs can be purchased for a fee via the Adobe subscription (Adobe website).
